Chiesetta di Santa Barbara

The Church of Santa Barbara stands on Monte Rocchetta, above Riva del Garda. It is white in color and is set in the rocks of the mountain and is also clearly visible from the city, despite being at 630 m.

The small church built by the workers who worked on the construction of the pipes for the underlying Riva power plant, built between 1925 and 1929, at the point where the old pipes arrived.

Saint Barbara is the patroness of miners.
